COVID PROOF
Our School
Our school has designed an organizational plan for the prevention and containment of the SARS CoV-2 pandemic, following indications from the health ministry, regional government, the Istituto Superiore della Sanità, and MIUR.
All of the safety regulations have been described in the “corresponsabilità educative e per la sicurezza” pact. The document has been shared with families and personnel and signed by the president of the school, the safety manager, the occupational physician, and by COVID managers.
Our Strategies
We have split the children into four classes by age: one third-year group (5 year olds), one second-year group (4 year olds) and two first-year groups (3 year olds). Each group is led by specific teachers and assistants. Their entrance in the morning is staggered and the groups are separated from each other during all indoor and outdoor activities. Each epidemiological group, known as a “bubble” allows for contact-tracing if necessary and prevents to possibility of any infection spreading to the other groups.
Appropriate hygiene measures are adhered to in accordance with indications from the Health Ministry.

Dueto the health emergency, last spring the school activated a multimedia platform to foster communication and a sense of community between the school, children and families during this difficult period.
We were able to resume in-school activities in September through the adoption of all necessary safety measures to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infections.
In the event that the pandemic situation forces us to suspend in-school activities, the school will utilize the platform again to support children and their families.
